    the knock off carbs are JUNK.. do not waste your time. or money. if someone is selling a 90$ carb kit for 20$... you know what.. its no good. Get OEM.. from a reputable dealer that has a excelent return policy.. also, an OEM carb doe NOT need ANY ADJUSTMENTS.. it should work right as it is. these carb kits for 20$ need to be adjusted and if that is not done right you can burn out the motor.

    • @JOEZEP54
      @JOEZEP54 13 днів тому

      @mikem4432 thank you for watching & taking the time to comment. The knock off carbs are a hit or miss but I had a good run with them. Some I had to tweak but I found for the savings it was worth it. May not be worth the chance for a shop but for some of the less than "ideal" units its worth a shot. On a newer unit in good shape I would go with the oem. Stay safe, Joe Z

    I had the same issue and found that the mower had absorbed some water into the fuel tank. I drained and cleaned the tank, blew out the fuel lines, replaced the fuel filter, and drained the carburetor. Now it's running great. Be sure to check the intake manifold o-rings (gaskets) and look for a possible air leak.

      Keep in mind I am not an electrician & am not giving electrical instructions. That said I would first check the breaker for this line. Do you see any corrosion or discoloration on the connection where the line is connected to it or on the breaker where it connects to the box? I would also check the outlets that have the issue. Looking for any discoloration, loose or disconnected wires. Let me know if this was of any help. Stay safe, Joe Z

      Hello @@JOEZEP54 , I have been meaning to let you know that the day after watching your video I followed your instruction and was finally able to unscrew the vacuum breaker. I want to thank God first then you. Your instruction worked great I was able drill through the left over screw. I sprayed some WD-40 near the joint. After making a few turns with a wrench I was able use my fingers to unscrew the vacuum breaker. I, however, made some scratches on the thread on the bib (cannot expect better than an amateur like me :)) Today I brought a new vacuum breaker, put it on, attached a hose and was able water the garden very nicely. It was such a relief. Thank you so very much for your video.

    I’m having the exact same problem that cranking sound and no spark, I literally have been running my blazer strong for this past month and wake up in the morning for work and have the same problem. Could it be my fuel pump or is it for sure a distributor cap and rotor? Because my blazer sounds exactly like that.

      Not sure if this is the problem you have but I had a problem with the security system a couple of times. I could not find the video I did for this. It may be one of the ones I did not upload. So I here are the steps to take. First make sure your battery is fully charged or have a jump box on hand.This will take a little over 30 minutes. Put your key into the ignition turn as if to start but do not crank the engine. Wait ten minutes. Turn key to shut it off. Wait 10 seconds. Turn key again & wait for another 10 minutes. Turn key to shut it of. Wait another 10 seconds. Turn key again & wait for another 10 minutes. Turn key to shut it of. Wait another 10 seconds. Turn key it should now start. Let me know how you made out. Joe Z

    That happens frequently with older houses usually because half the house is wired to one fuse. You should bypass everything that doesn't go to your kitchen and add a GFCI fuse with GFCI outlets. Same with bathrooms. Don't wait until your wiring is ruined.

    • @JOEZEP54
